- 1/4 cup of honey or rock sugar (shí shǎo)

- 4 cups of water

- Optional: a pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients: Rinse all the dried ingredients thoroughly to remove any dust or impurities. Soak the almonds and lotus seeds in water for at least 30 minutes to soften them.
