This time, instead of chasing the rabbit, he turned back and watched it. The rabbit looked at him, then turned and started running. Relieved, Felix activated the Quantum Leap Generator once more. This time, he was transported back to the attic, the generator still in his hands. He smiled, knowing that he had learned a valuable lesson about the nature of time and the importance of not being too lazy.

As Felix sat down, the attic door creaked open, and a curious cat named Whiskers poked his head in. Felix looked at the cat, then at the generator, and with a mischievous grin, he activated the device once more.
