The Lazy Astronaut's Lazy Lander

One day, as the Lazy Astronaut was drifting through space, his ship's navigation system, which was as lazy as he was, decided to take a nap. Unfortunately for the Lazy Astronaut, this nap came at a most inopportune time. The ship's sensors, also following the Lazy Astronaut's lead, failed to detect the Earth's gravitational pull.

With a gentle nudge, the Lazy Lander was pulled from its cosmic slumber and, without a second thought, began its descent towards the blue planet. The Lazy Astronaut, still fast asleep, didn't even notice the change in course until the ship's alarm blared, "Impact in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!"

The Lazy Astronaut, a man of action, or rather inaction, hit the emergency ejection button. The rocket boosters fired, and he was propelled away from the ship just as it touched down with a thud in the middle of a lush, green field.

The Lazy Astronaut landed in a heap, his space suit malfunctioning and his helmet stuck to his head. He looked around, bewildered, and realized he was no longer in space. He had landed on Earth.

As he tried to stand, he stumbled and fell, his helmet rolling off and landing with a clatter. He picked it up and peered through the visor, only to see a group of bewildered villagers pointing at him.

"Who are you?" one of them asked, his voice tinged with fear.

"I am the Lazy Astronaut," he replied, trying to sound grandiose. "I come from the stars!"

The villagers exchanged nervous glances, and one of them, a wise old man with a long beard, stepped forward. "We are from Earth, and we do not understand your words. But you have landed on our planet, and we must help you."

The wise old man, sensing his change of heart, said, "We have a proverb here on Earth: 'The lazy man's tools are always out of order.' I think you understand what I mean."
